Innovation Projects

Context & Problem
Target Users
Tech innovation teams, crypto enthusiasts, early adopters, and internal stakeholders testing new technologies
Goals
- Rapidly design and prototype experimental products to validate emerging tech ideas
- Enable fast iteration cycles with continuous user testing and feedback loops
- Build foundational design patterns for blockchain and security-focused applications
- Foster collaboration and learning across multidisciplinary teams
The innovation team was tasked with exploring cutting-edge technologies and transforming early-stage ideas into functional prototypes. Existing workflows lacked speed, adaptability, and rapid testing environments, slowing innovation and limiting opportunities to experiment with blockchain, crypto, and secure systems.
Process
Collaborated with engineers and researchers to explore new technologies and identify potential use cases
Rapidly prototyped UI and UX concepts for early validation, often redesigning multiple times in short sprints
Conducted user testing with crypto enthusiasts, early adopters, and internal stakeholders
Developed scalable UI patterns for blockchain-based applications and secure flows
Iterated designs based on pilot feedback, technical feasibility, and evolving product goals

Solution Overview
A series of rapid, high-impact innovation projects that explored blockchain, crypto, and secure interaction patterns. These included a 2017 crypto wallet prototype, a 2018 blockchain voting system, the Sci.to privacy-first crypto community MVP, BXPort trading dashboards with adjustable refresh intervals, and Secubik — a 2020 security-focused platform. Together, they represented a culture of 'fail fast, learn faster,' accelerating innovation and preparing the organization for emerging digital ecosystems.
Outcome & Learnings
Delivered five pioneering prototypes within three years, each contributing critical learnings to future products. BXPort significantly improved real-time trading insights. The blockchain voting system became the foundation for later enterprise applications, and Secubik evolved into a commercial security solution. The innovation team’s iterative approach transformed R&D velocity and built a strong culture of experimentation.
